That tiny drop of dew
Longs to ooze out
The thundering growling clouds
Make it self doubt
Sheepishly the dew peeked out
To see what clouds have planned
All it could see
Was bright lightning bolts across all ends.
The blinding flash scared the dew
But It wanted to glisten and gleam
Since shining was its destiny
Beautifying the world was its dream
Fighting all odds and notions
It decided to plunge down
This huge leap of faith
Made the clouds scream and frown
The rain downpoured in outrage
And crumbled each petal
It left no flower untouched
No leaf for the dew to settle
But now that the dew had desended
Released it from all fears
All the rattling of rain blobs
Felt nothing less than cheers
While the rains were busy bombarding
The beautiful earthly paradise
A tiny shoot down there
Somehow could save itself from the demise
The shoot on sighting the dew
Exclaimed with joy unknown
And extended a coushioning leaf
To craddle the falling hero
And how this mocked the thunder
Dethroned the rains form reigning
Swept away the gloomy clouds
Marking a new begining
That heroic little drop of dew
Braving all fears and odds
Was now where it was destined
Whether or not chosen by the gods
Outright discouraged the thunders were
Briskly the rain undermining
And then there was a hint of sun
Oh how brightly it would be shining
The shoot on its tiny leaf
Throned this little spartan
The dew thus began to glisten
In this beautifully decorated haven
The sun sparkled brightly
Healing each trampled earthling
It crowned the dew with a surreal shine
Imparting a heavenly bling
Fighting all odds it lived a life
And did eventually glisten and gleam
Since shining was its destiny
Beautifying the world was its dream
